Some additional reminders concerning teacher training:

Take courses in sequence:
1) Every Child Can (ECC) is required for taking Book 1.

2) For Book 1 and Book 2, institutes are required to check that the Trainee has completed the prerequisite courses.

Auditions
1) It is strongly recommended that audition videos be uploaded 8 weeks prior to the first day of the course to be taken.

2) ECC, Book 1 and Book 2 and 3 must be completed in that order. A successful audition at the appropriate level is required in order for a Trainee to register for courses beyond book one.

Membership
SAA Active Membership is required before beginning a course (except ECC).

Teacher Scholarships
Scholarships are available from the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) and from SASA. SAA scholarships are quite generous but require a long lead time to apply. SASA scholarships, as they are local, are easier to apply for with shorter time lines, but are less generous due to our more limited resources.
