We
are a "commuting" institute which means we have no
dedicated housing for attendees. Sometimes it is possible
to stay with local families.
Please inquire if this interests you, but we cannot guarantee host-housing will be available every year.
If you will be
attending the institute please keep in mind that Anchorage is a
large city with a very small public transport infrastructure.
We recommend you rent a car for your stay to facilitate transportation.
This will also enable you to enjoy the many local sights. See the map
of Anchorage here.

Meals
are not provided during the institute and although many great
local restaurants are nearby depending on our location, they
are not always within walking distance, so please plan accordingly.
Please do not
hesitate to contact, our travel coordinator, Cindy, for more
information on travel to and from the institute as well as on
local housing.
